Hi
I’ve been using SVCD2DVD for around a year now, Always found it to be useful and is the best tool I have seen. It’s great for putting 2 svcd’s onto DVD but I have a query when I am putting say 6 episodes of a random program onto DVD.
The menus are not that great so I use ulead DVD workshop to finalise the menus but I have one query.
If I convert my assets to the mpg2 format with SVCD2DVD V2 then import them into DVD workshop it says the files are not compliant and re-encodes them and ulead is not the fastest program for doing this.
If I don’t use SVCD2DVD but use tmpgenc express and choose DVD pal format then the files are complaint as far as ulead is concerned and when I finalise my project it takes around 15 minutes to encode the mpgs into vobs and finalise the DVD structure.
Is there a reason why Ulead thinks the files are non compliant when using SVCD2DVD or is it an ulead issue?
Cheers
