    A friend of mine sold some movies on fleabay for one month and made close to $6000.00 before he got kicked off. He was selling "identity", and hulk and a couple others that came out that month. He cant get back on fleabay now, but he says he would do it again. he is one LUCKY SOB

  5. Using filesharing software to distribute copyright material is morally wrong and illegal. BUT! If i were a criminal, and decided to do this, then I would think that the Authorities would persue those that "pushed" the illegal material rather than those that "used" it. .... I'd better stop before I get another yellow card....

    mh2360 would be correct. The only people that ever get busted are the people hosting sites and "sharing" thousands of files. The RIAA/MPAA have even said that they only go after people who share "a large quantity" of files - and when pressed say that the number is in the high hundreds.

    I'm not advocating piracy, I'm just saying that the "bigger fish to fry" concept is at work here.

    I mean, how would they get a warrant to see what sort of stuff he had without him sharing it out for them to download? They wouldn't. They can't get a warrant without having downloaded a bunch of stuff from an end-user.
