    I was curious if there is any dvd recorders, that would be able to take pal video from vcr or a camcorder, burn it into ntsc dvd. Or even burn into a pal dvd, since my philips also plays pal.
    I hope you guys understand, what I am trying to say.
    Pal source - > dvd -> ntsc playback
    or
    Pal source - > dvd -> pal playback
    I maybe there is a dvd player that can convert ntsc to pal, or read pal a source.

    Philips dvd recorder whilst not the best in the world will record to pal or ntsc and I think take a pal souce and record in either.
    PAL/NTSC problem solver.
    USED TO BE A UK Equipment owner., NOW FINISHED WITH VHS CONVERSIONS-THANKS
