  1. Hello,

    I have a Mac powerbook G4 with Toast 6.

I am wondering, is there a way to burn two or more discs at once (CD/CD, DVD,DVD, CD/DVD) if I have 2 or more writers? I've done it by burning with iTunes and Toast at the same time, but I would like to be able to use toast for both discs. Is it a good idea to duplicate Toast and have 2 poen at the same time? Does this work? What are the limitations. What about burning from an external firewire hard drive (a LaCie FireWire 250GB 7200RPM)?

    Thanks a bunch!

  2. I use Toast 6.0.7 & 6.0.5 to do what you are asking. I haven't had any problems using them at the same time.
Keep the older version of software just in case the new one has problems.

Yes it works to duplicate Toast and have each application assigned to a different recorder. They don't need to be different versions of Toast. Roxio even describes this in the Toast Knowledgebase articles.

I'm going to have to try this out too.

I can verift that this works. I have toast on multiple drives and just open it twice. One for each drive. Its the only way to burn

2 dvd's going at same time

    Gotta love your mac!

  6. They don't have to be on different drives. The only thing Roxio suggests is not booting one copy of Toast while another is burning a disc.
