'Ello All,
I'm a newbie and I've just got a quick question if anyone can help me out. I recently installed DVDX Copy Platinum on my computer. Whenever I try to make a copy of a DVD, around 13% of the original being read, I got an error message saying, "EncryptedData F:\Video_TS\\". If someone could please let me know what the error means and how it can be remedied, I would greatly appreciate it.
Best Regards,
SirWIlliamIdol

Switch to DVD Shrink, it's a better, more flexible program and it's free as well.
Your problem may be with a newer type of encrypted disc that DVDXCopy cannot handle. If you still want to use DVDXCopy, you may want to try extracting the DVD onto your HD using DVD Decrypter first. But as I said, I'd consider switching to DVD Shrink anyway, see how it does with Shrink. -
That happens to me too on some individual DVD's. When I try to back up my Jay and Silent Bob, and my Kings of Comedy it does the same thing. I haven't tried it yet, but I suggest jsut doing it with DVD Shrink. That program seems to work for just about every DVD.

Thanks for the useful suggestion. DVD Shrink works much better with my computer, though I'm still having problems. I started a new post for my problems with DVD Shrink here --> https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1239176#1239176
Thanks again,
