  1. Hello,
My dvd player will not play any of my burnt copies of movies. It is a Sony Dvd NS725P. I tried - + R/RW of 3 diffferant brands such as Maxell, HP and Memorex. My copies play ok on my computer. I used 123 Copy Dvd as software and downloaded from a link on their website, a file to allow to decode the movies. Has anyone had to deal with this problem? Do I need to upgrade the player? What do I need to check?

Trash the Copy DVD and use dvdshrink instead. I have the 725P and it plays everything I've burned, both + and -.

  3. Hello,
I found out today that the player is at fault. I bought a newer sony dvd player and it will play some of my burnt disks. So thats an improvement. But I believe your right about trying dvdshrink as I feel that my present software (123Copy) is giving me mediocre results. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. Go figure.

    Hello,
That was good advice about DVD Shrink. I just made perfect copies of a two sided movie disk. Audio and video are exceptional. I followed the links at their site for other software that was recommended and found the explanations on the how to's exceptional. Thanks a lot. I would still be roaming around the net , I think, if you had not replied to my question.
