    Ok, undestand first off that I am NOT talking about "authoring" the MPG files to a DVD - I'm talking about just a straight burn to a DATA DVD - my Philips DVP-642 plays DVD Data disks just fine.

    However, I would like to have a menu - same way you can have a menu on a VCD Compilation (like with Nero).

    Nothing fancy, just a list of the files - unfortunately, the default menu for the 642 only shows 11 characters.

    What he said. This has been requested for some time, but until players support a standard way of doing it, you have to use the built in file list
