  1. Hi everyone,

(not sure what thread to post in)

I have a problem that is not only pissing my off in nero but costing my blank dvd -r disks.

Basicly I load up a blank dvd DATA session in nero drag about 6 large video files (divx) over and then burn the disc. It then seems to burn just as normal but when I insert the disc on my computer after its done it just spins away and never reads any files on the disc.

The only thing I can think it might be was that when i started the burn once it said something about multisession(?) may not be compatible with older versions of windows or something? (not sure because the message was toggled to 'never show me this again')

Please help im loosing my mind......i cant even burn a data dvd! last night this worked fine!

    -windows XP
    -nero 6

Although the choice is presented, to chose to burn a multi session, it is not possible on a DVD-R. Only for CDs. It is found as soon as you chose either CD or DVD on the tab that appears after the splash screen. After you choose DVD, and the type of burn compilation yoou want, the next window will show that choice again. Make sure you have the No Multisession on ticked.

This may sound stupid but also make sure you are not simmulating a burning session. Believe me, I've done it.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

That is probably the best piece of advice I've seen, and one of the most common mistakes when burning. I've done the same thing before. Usually after a reinstall of Nero the option for simulate burn is left checked. Make sure you are also finalizing your disc.
