I've been doing some upgrades on a friends crappy prefab PC. Its running a Gigabyte VIA chipset Mobo, a Liteon CD drive, and I recently put a Gigabyte Radeon 9250 in it in place of the crappy onboard graphics. Its still running onboard audio. It has 256 MB ram. He wants to add another 256MB or RAM, a case fan and a DVD-ROM drive. But the PSU is a 300W offbrand unit. I'm hesitant to try putting all that in to see if it'll run or not. Any opinions welcome.

Thanks for the input. If I do put a new PSU in it I'll get an Antec but I'd upgrade it to 400W to make sure he's covered for a while. I was just a little hesitant to put too much in there with what I consider to be the minimum wattage for a modern PC build.
