  1. Alright so I am trying to add files onto my dvd project on Sonic (which totally sucks bythe way) but I am importing the files and they are all MPEG and they varry in size. However I put one that was like 700 Mbs on and it took up only about 1 gig or so but then I made a new project and tried to put one that was only 500Mbs and it said it went way over. Should I convert it or what? And if so anyone have a good way of doing so?
edit- This is a Video DVD not a data DVD by the way

    We can't help you
    you haven't posted any information

    I'll hazard aguess

You're using SONIC's MYDVD (I doubt you'd say "which totally sucks bythe way" about SONIC SCENERIST)

You've dropped files that have the audio already in them (MUXED MPEG-2 files that is)

SONIC says it has no room cause its converted your hard work into PCM audio (2 or 3 times the size of the Audio you started with)

What to do if I have guessed right:
    1. Demux your files , either now, or by rendering seperates next time
    2. speciify for SONIC MY DVD to use AC3 audio it makes in 5.0 or higher
    3. if you are on MyDvd 4.00 or less .give up

  3. Wow that was really good, except that I found that I have MySonic ver 3 so you are saying I'm screwed? that sucks, unless you dvd gurus know a way to change it before I bring it to Mysonic. If you can help I would be much obliged. And if in my posts I don't post what is necessary and seems like I have very little idea what I am doing you can also be proud you guessed right again.
