Catholic Church Confers Sainthood Upon Michael Jackson

Vatican City - John Cardinal Ratzinger, chairman of the powerful Congregation for the Preservation of the Faith, announced today that the Roman Catholic Church has conferred sainthood upon controversial popstar Michael Jackson.



"I know it's unusual to grant sainthood to someone who is still alive and who isn't even Catholic," said Cardinal Ratzinger, "But when we took a look at his record of personal ministry to young boys with soft skin and supple bodies we all said, 'He's one of us.' And I think it is fitting that Saint Michael will be the patron saint of plastic surgeons and child molesters."

The sanctification Mass of Saint Michael will take place on Sunday, December 14th at Madison Square Garden. Tickets may be purchased online at Ticketmaster and at all Catholic-sponsored bingo parlors in the New York and Boston dioceses. The Mass will be broadcast live on BET, VH-1 and Vatican City MTV, and the guest stars will include the O'Jays, Sister Sledge, the Pointer Sisters and the Fire Island Gay Knights of Columbus Gospel Choir.

"I'm really glad we fast-tracked Saint Michael's canonization," Cardinal Ratzinger added. "The Episcopals were just this close to making him a bishop."

When did he go wrong? He used to be somewhat normal in the 80's and then weird shit started happening. His hair grew longer, his skin turned white, and his fuckin' nose looks like it wants to fall off.

No...he wasn't anywhere near normal even back then.

I used to wonder very early on why others didn't see the obvious...but given he was already an established celebrity, people in general would brush it off as that he was just a very eccentric person.
Most people weren't aware of his lifestyle or interests and just didn't pay attention to his personal life.

The line between eccentric and mind disorder is so thin that it's very hard to tell the difference.

Two examples of this can be found in the movies, Being There (as comedy) and Housekeeping (a more serious take on the subject that never really answers the question but lets the viewers decide for themselves)

Regardless of any sexual abuse, the guy has some very extreme psychological problems, resulting from an abusive childhood, and needs help - he shouldn't be left alone with kids period.


That he has the money and power to buy people only makes him all the more dangerous.
