  1. anime fans youll love me and dualaudio fans too. lol. ok this is my first guide so please bare with me. i figured out how to get dual audio avi to work with the philips dvp642, i watch anime alot and its nice to have the option and i figured this out byy accedent, i have only tried it with one series so far, ok ill try to explain as best as i can.
    tools needed:
    virtualdubmod
    nero express
    lame mp3
    i think thats it
first thing to do it is open dubmod then open a file like example.ogm
the go to save as then click dont run this job now, add it to job control
then click video mode to direct stream processing
add all the files you want converted to the job control
after you have all the files you want converted (in the job control click f4) and then click start
after its doone converting the files will now be called example.avi.

    now for the subtitles
in the original ogm file youll have to dumex the subtitles and call it the same name as you avi.
burn using nero and play in your philips dvd player press the audio button to switch from english to japanese ect.

i tried adding the subtitles to the avi but the dvdplayer wouldnt reconize it.
so youll have to put the subs alone with the same file name as the avi.
i hope this helps all of you
from dave if you have any questions please ask ill help as best as i can
and if any one have time please make a better guide

Dual audio should work fine on any DivX certified player. You might want to check out fuse for muxing to .divx complete with internal subs.
