Can anyone help me out and let me know if these scans are any good? I have a Sony Dru500a that seems to burn these ok, but I am just not to sure of how to read the "Transfer rate" test.

  2. Looks fine, but most drives won't read using CLV, that is, they will increase their read speed over the length of the test. Staying at a constant 4x is not alot of 'strain' on the drive vs. a drive that tries to read the discs at 10x plus. If you get any dips at all in tests at 4x, there's a very good chance of skipping.

Thanks for the replies guys. Now when you say that most drives won't read CLV, does this mean I should use something other than CLV? And is there a way to do this?

CLV is how that drive reads. Use another drive to test. Doesn't matter too much. Looks alright.

Thanks Smurf! I appreciate the response. These Riteks have all tested like this so if this is good than I am happy. I just wish my burner could burn faster than 4x cause 4x is just too darn slow.
