playing skips 20 min into movie to last 20 min of movie

I'm burning on 4x ridata dvd (about 2 months old)
using DvD Shrink 3.2
pioneer 4x single layer burner

Everything is normal but when i'm watching the movie it will just skip forward about and hour in the movie. seems to happen around the same time on all my back ups (~around 20 mins in the moive). This has just started happening about 2 weeks ago.

Any advice?
Bad set of Dvd media?
Burner problem?
new virus?
I've tried the dvds in different dvd players and same thing happens...its burning funny on the disk....

It's either a bad batch of media (Ritek isn't what they used to be...) or some glitch in your backup process. What program are you using?

Or, it's FEASIBLE that there's a problem with your burner. I've seen at least one person, over on Club CD Freaks, whose burner would produce a glitch on EVERY disc it burned at EXACTLY the same spot. But that's gotta be a one-in-a-million sort of bug, so I doubt that's it.

Play it on your computer from your HD. If it works, is the media.
