does anybody know how to edit an mp3 or wav file so that you can remove the words in the songs so that you just get the tune? in other words what i want is a program that will help me remove actual MUSIC of a song.
pleeeeeeeeeese help meeeeeee.

This is going to be fun...
Go to winamp.com and look thru there plugins, there's a few karoake plugins, these play around with the frequencies to try and select out bits that you want. Play with them for a few days and then set your output plugin to diskwriter (press ctrl-p in winamp to pop-up the plugins dialogue). When you play the song this will write it to disc.
You can alos mess around with cooledit, but it's not going to be done quickly, read thru the manual carefully.
