Using Ulead Movie Factory 2. I import my Mpeg2 tracks and create my menu with audio and notice that the project is still under 4.3 Gigs. So all should be ok. But after the authoring is finished, I notice that the new created VIDEO_TS folder is now 4.8 GB. Why would this happen? Has anyone else experienced this? And any suggestions of how to fix it?
Also I am a little worried about trying other programs cause of synch issues. These Mpeg2 files were captured with a Mpeg2 hardware and the audio and video are in synch. I don't want to re-encode them. Any suggestions?

How many menus do you have, and did you use LPCM audio for all of them? Did somehow your audio change from a compressed audio (either Dolby Digital or mpeg L2) to LPCM audio?

Check to see if the audio bitrate got encoded at a higher rate then the original size, etc 192 to 256kbps.
