Hi,
Which DVD recordable discs work reliably for playback on my Compacks DVD-S580 player, with no glitches?
I currently have 2 problems, 1) my TDK DVDRW0404N 1.0C writer does not work with the cheap media that I find in my local shops (I have tried Bulkpaq orange top 4x [Princo manufacture] and they either crashed the machine or created discs which had glitches on them when I played them back in the writer or on my Compacks stand alone player, and on some of them I couldn't finalize the discs, I have also tried Maxell CDR74XL CD-R's and they didn't work in the writer properly and made coasters, and recently I tried RiDisc 4x DVD-R which seemed to record properly but would not finalize),
and my second problem is that, as I said above, I would love to know what discs work excellently in my Compacks S580 DVD player.
Cheers,
Alistair Gutcher
