Hello!
A file I created using DVD2AVI is not recognized in Windows XP. I used to have Windows ME on my old computer and was able to encode fine with TMPGEnc, but now with XP it won't recognize the file. I have tried to load PowerDVD and Divx codecs to get it to work. Any suggestions???
Thanks,
Tearren

First, you still have the VOB files that the D2V file was generated from right? The D2V file just frameserves the VOB files, so if you erased them (or moved them, eg. to a different folder) things won't work.
Under winXP, have you installed teh VFAPI codec? If not d/load it from http://www.tmpgenc.com and install it again.
In TMPGenc, raise the environmental settings of the VFAPI codec (often defaults to -2, try raising to 1). -
Hey Vejita-sama!
Thank you for the quick reply and suggestions. I raised the "DVD2AVI Project File Reader 1.76" to 1, it was at a negative priority. I am able to open the file now, thanks so much!!!!
