I bought the widescreen version. When I attempted a backup, I realized I could only do that with the theatrical version. The reason is that the new parts are on seperate titles, and it goes back and forth between the main title, and the new scenes.
Is this the way the FS version is, or are the new scenes in the same title as the main film?

I backed it up with a DL DVD using DVD Decryptor in ISO Read and ISO Write with no problem and the copy is perfect.
I tried it with DVDShrink in ISO mode but only with the theatrical version and the results were very good.
IMHO the extra scenes add very little to the story and I don't like the way they just jump in and jump out very annoying.NEC ND3500A/G
