    Hi
Okay, i broke down and bought a R200 today.
Now to decide which printable media to try....
I know how TY is considered the best but i have used TONS of diff.
media and have some as old as 2 years and they play fine.
With exception to one pack of media i bought that totally sucked!!!!!!!
Please give me all your personal opinions from experiance which would be the next best media from this page at Rima.

Thanks for everyones opinion & help!!!

    Hey
Ya know i saw that also but i figured if people had tried the diff. ones there i could get some input on them.

Like what would be the 2nd best choice next to the TY's,
The Prodisc, Optodisc or the Ritek's ?

now would it be assured that the same brand names in the sample pack would be of the same manufacturer as the 50 & 100 spindles ??
Because i was just ready to order a spindle of 50 or 100 as i am into the last 50 of the 175 fuji's i bought at BB last week
Except i would opt for the + sample pack.

  4. I've found Verbatims OK but a lot of the printables I've tried have been crap compared to the normal versions. The RiDisc x8 -r's I bought are fine but the printable versions I got at the same time are crap. Same media code and same brand.

    Here you go:

    Hub
+R : verbatim 8x mcc003. Excellent discs. I cannot disagree more with the people that states the inkjet version sucks. I've done 75, tested most of them (pi/pif) and all I can say is these are excellent.
    -R : TY or G05.

    Non-hub
-R: Verbatim (36mm center, pretty good), TY, Prodics (R03)
    +R: TY

    Hmmm... okay.
I used to use Verbatim exclusively but then started going for all the sales at BB.
I am pretty much looking at JUST the +R on the page i linked to.
So that's 2 for Prodisc White inkjet printable's
The only thing i don't like is they don't say if they print all the way to the hole or not ? unless i'm missing something there ?

Suprising, thought A LOT more people would chime in on this one ?
& suprised i have not heard anything about the Riteks on that page ?

Guess i'll take a shot with the Prodisc 8)

But i'm not ordering till the first of next week so maybe i'll still break down and buy the TY's
    Decisions Decisions

    Thanks Everyone!!

Even for the extra cash, I'd still go for the Ty's. Of course you could mosey on over to allmediaoutlet.com and check out the deals on Linkyo hub printables. Linkyo makes some great media. Just a few weeks ago, they had them on sale for like .28 a piece! Great stuff.
