ok why was my last post deleted i did nothing wrong
anyway i when i watch a vcd burned on a cd-rw it works but a couple minuites into the film a cd 13:00 error pops up any ideas

There are lots of postings concerning your DVD Player. Maybe you should use the search facility (Keyword "dvp-s530d" ) and check if someone had the same problem.

i am very very sorry i have searched through the over posts and have came to nothing like my problem i was wondering if there was a way to maybe reset the player such as think it was new

I doubt very much that your VCD operating would have caused the firmware to go corrupt. The best thing to do, I think, would be to contact Sony direct or the place where you bought this Player. It is an unusual problem and maybe your machine is just faulty.
