  1. Hi all.

    Simple problem.
I use dvd decrypter to back up, then dvd shrink and burn with nero.
Results, everything goes perfect, I can watch my dvd-r in any dvd player except for the Pioneers. Media used Ritek and Ridata G04.
A friend of mine used the same exactly procedure with the same exactly media, and have no roblems at all...¿WHAT IS RONG?

    Question 2

Back up dvd-r using dvd decrypter-read Iso/write Iso everything perfect until today.
I back up a dvd-r but when finished the folders with the extension lO1 and DVD where not there!!!! and since I used the extension DVD to burn I do not know what to do.The only folders here are the extension MDS and the ISO..
    WHAT SHOULD I DO?

    Thanks!!!

    1. Different models support different media. Try looking up the exact model number in the "DVD Players" section on the left<<<<<< to see which media is compatible

    2. Sounds like it is deleting the files after burning.

some pioneers dont like dvd burned with nero (certain versions).. i would suggest using imgtool classic and creating an iso image, then burn that iso with dvd decrypter.. i'll bet you a dollar to a doughnut that it works.

pioneers generally have good lasers on them and can cope with shitty media better than most dvd players.

I was gonna say what model pioneer is he having this problem on ?

Because as you say about pioneer's , i have 3 diff. models, one is a dvd/ld from 97 and even it plays everything i have ever put into it & i have always burned about 99% of the time with nero.

That's what DVD Decrypter does when used in ISO mode, makes an image file.
Are you saying after you burned it the only thing on the dvdr was an ISO & MDS ??

Or that's what you have on your HDD ?
If that what you have on your HDD just open them in DVD Decrypter in the "write" ISO mode and burn it to the dvdr.

i've had this problem with friends who have burned dvd's with nero and brought them over, and one experience myself.. i used to have a pioneer dv-260, it did not like dvd's burned with nero.. i once burned a copy of ice with nero, the disc would play in all my other dvd players except the pioneer.. so i ripped the files off the disc, burned with recordnow max.. worked perfectly.. used img tool to make an image of the video/audio_ts folder & burned with dvd decrypter, worked perfectly..

the dv-270 isnt as picky, i'm able to play the "bad copy" of ice age with it.. its some versions of nero and some pioneer dvd players.. when those combinations meet, its not pretty..

I have a DV-260 and it has no problems whatsoever with discs burned with Nero.

could have been the version of nero i was using at the time when that was my main use dvd player.. i quickly abandoned nero after that experience.

i've heard other reports on this forum about nero producing dvd's that arent within the dvd spec.
