    What do you think of this DVD-RW drive?

    So far I am quite satisfied with it. The only problem I have with it is my TDK DVD-R 8x media will only burn at 4x. I am using a version of Nero that came with it, so I don't even know if that could be a reason for the inability to select 8x. But the box does says 8x.[/b]

    To start with, the Sony DRU-710A is a rebadged Liteon 1633S drive. You can find out a lot more about this drive in the Liteon Forum at http://club.cdfreaks.com

    In general, Liteon drives prefer +R media over -R media.
