I used winavi to convert AVI to DVD I have used it a few times and it has worked great. This time it have made a vob file which is over 2 gig and nero will not burn it. I have tried to open it with DVD shink to get the size down but that says unsupported file format. Any Idea how I can burn this ? I dont want to have another 6 hours converting it again !
Thanks for the help

Did it just create ONE vob file? no ifo, bups?
Then reauthor it with for example tmpgenc dvd author, add the vob as the video. -
Hi,
It generated 5 files:
VIDEO_TS
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VTS_01_0
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0 (vob)

Dump winavi I tried for weeks and made more coasters than good dvds, use nero 6 ultra edition. I use the nerovison express this converts and burns to dvd in one go, and for a film that lasts about 1hr 30 mins it takes 1 hr 45 to convert and burn.
Give it a try
Good Luck

I have used nero to encode and burn the AVI it worked well but on my coal fired Pentium 5 535mhz if took 5 hours for a 1hour 40 mins avi. This I need to come in to the 20th century !
