I used winavi to convert AVI to DVD I have used it a few times and it has worked great. This time it have made a vob file which is over 2 gig and nero will not burn it. I have tried to open it with DVD shink to get the size down but that says unsupported file format. Any Idea how I can burn this ? I dont want to have another 6 hours converting it again !

    Thanks for the help

Did it just create ONE vob file? no ifo, bups?
Then reauthor it with for example tmpgenc dvd author, add the vob as the video.

    Hi,
    It generated 5 files:
    VIDEO_TS
    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VTS_01_0
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0 (vob)

  4. Dump winavi I tried for weeks and made more coasters than good dvds, use nero 6 ultra edition. I use the nerovison express this converts and burns to dvd in one go, and for a film that lasts about 1hr 30 mins it takes 1 hr 45 to convert and burn.

    Give it a try

    Good Luck
