I just showed my boss how to do a "mail merge" in MS Word..... saved him about 4 hours of work.

....he'll be licking my sneakers for the rest of the day now!!

let's see.... think I'll surf the net for a few hours... then I'll be taking a 2 hour lunch... then I'll be leaving early today.... :P

It's amazing how something so small can put me on easy street for the rest of the day!

well, my boss is pretty cool... I've known him for years and we have a friendship outside of the workplace that pre-dates our working together here. I'm not worried about being replaced, he's been looking at moving me into his position as there is a position for him higher up the ladder that is awaiting him.....

...besides, no one here wants to do the jobs we do... we ISO folks are like the plague ... the crowds part when we arrive!

...now you'll have to excuse me - I have some very important internet surfing to do today!! (The hockey forums await my response! )

Mail Merging is definitely a time saver, I use it a couple times a week at least.
