audio problems?

Ok i Have this mpeg file that has audio problems, for the first couple minutes the audio is fine then it starts to lag and get out of sync. I tried fixing it after i encoded it into an mpeg 2 but it's still having the same problem. I scanned the origional mpeg file through vcd easy to see what the problem was and i got a warning that said:

aps' pts seems out of order (actual pts 565.271100, last seen pts 565.304467) -- ignoring this aps

I do not know what this means, what is an aps and pts? Any ideas on whats wrong with the audio?
