Joining Vob, IFO, and Bup

I have two diff AVI files I have convrted to mpeg 2 with DVD Santa for burning to DVD. I converted the two files seperatly and each is about 1.7GB. Can I put the Vob, IFO, and Bup files into one folder just by renaming the files like VIDEO_TS.BUP & VIDEO_TS_1.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO & VTS_01_1.IFO, etc?

No.

You can join VOBs together using either IFOedit or VOBedit - there's a guide by Baldrick somewhere, or you can import the VOBs into something like TMPGEncDVDAuthor and it will do the rest for you.

I'd go for the TMPGEncDVDAuthor option.

http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/test.htm can help with joining VOBs and recreating a new set of IFOs, but as Rob says, you're probably better off just importing straight into TDA, as then you can configure a menu, chapters etc etc.
