Use DVD Shrink to shrink the DVD, output as an ISO, burn the ISO with DVD Decrypter, easy There's loads of guides on this site on how to do this Pat, have a read mate. It may seem complicated at first but you'll soon learn.

thats true. It seemed complicated to me at first but its really easy after the first or second time, then later you'll get more fimiliar with the settings and features. Theres a guide online, but basically:

    1. insert movie in to PC.
    2. Open DVD shrink>click "open disc"
    3. Pick the one you want thats listed
    4.Click reauthor
    5. Drag over "main Movie" from right to left of box.
6.Click "back up" and choose what you will burn with, (DVDdecrypter is best I think)
    DONE!!

these are basic instructions to get you started.

    spot on, steve

I might also throw this guide into the mix:

    If in doubt, Google it.

level 9 ? You must have a way-old version of DVDShrink, because 2.3 was the last to offer "levels" of compression. Get the newest version (3.2), and if you want to do the whole disc, just untick the audio you don't want and click the backup button (no need to reauthor unless you want main movie only). Might pay to take a look at the guide I posted, too
    If in doubt, Google it.

Glad to hear you got it sorted

If you have Nero, DVDDecrypter or CopyToDVD, you can configure DVDShrink to launch these programs to burn automatically if you wish. Otherwise, to burn your VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders, you might want to look here:

    If in doubt, Google it.

  10. If you have Nero already, you may as well use it.

My thoughts exactly. Instead of DVDshrink outputting the compressed dvd files to the respective video_ts and audio_ts folders.... select the burn to your dvd -+r drive as your destination for the dvd files.

A few people have reported problems using Nero to burn and prefer to use DVDDecrypter, but it really is a "what works best for you" situation. You can automate DVDShrink to burn with Nero, or use this guide to do it "manually". The other thing to remember is that DVDDecrypter is free, so it won't cost you to try it whatever the case ...
    If in doubt, Google it.
