Hi all,
I have just converted my captured footage from a dc10+ card and encoded it in mpeg4 (latest Divx codec) via virtual dub. The quality is fantastic and I am very happy with the output.
The only thing I am uncertain of, is when I open this file in Media player 7, the file starts playing jerky or frame by frame for a few seconds (like it is trying to catch up) once that finishes the clip is fine.
It is only a problem at the beginning of the clip,(once it is opened) When I set this clip on repeat, the second time around the beginning is fine.(weird)
Is this a common problem or is there some other setting in virtual dub I have missed out on? (or a patch?)
Thanks all for any help or suggestions.
