Hi,
I came a cross a very strange problem. Here follows a short description of what I did:
- Capture DV to AVI through Firewire on AMD400/128Mb with Ulead Videostudio.
- Convert AVI to MPEG2 with TMPGEnc and SVCD template (2520 video bitrate / 224 audio bitrate)
- Burn CD with Nero 5551 using SVCD template.
When I playback the svcd in my Pioneer Dv-535 player, the video looks great, and even the sound is clear, but whenever someone speaks, it sounds slurred (slow) and very deep (demon voice from movies), dont know how else to describe!
I have tried same setup but with 1900/192 bitrate for video/audio, but video looks much worse and audio is the same.
I have also created normal VCD's in the same way without problems.
I should also mention that I write the cd's on a pentium 1 / 64 mb at 2x speed.
Any help will be appreciated.
Pierre
