Hi all, after using the 1.5 demo a few times i noticed audio pops every 5-10 minutes, searched on this forum for a few answers, and i put it down to It being a demo problem so i purchased the full program.Still have the same probs though, tried disabling FFMPEG-no joy still pops, also tried the beta v2.0,and still get the pops, everything else is sweet, nice and fast, but for these sound pops.Anyone have any advice, how do i go about trying a different audio encoder in the latest beta,i take it this prob is with the audio encoder or could it be a problem elsewhere? cheers

Usually if this happens then in v1.5 unchecking the FFMPEG option does the trick:
If this doesn't work then there is something strange about the source. Have you tried other sources to see if it is indeed a problem with the one file? Are you encoding to mpa or ac3? Do you get the same issue if you encode to ac3 in v2.0?
If you want you can send me a small sample to my FTP site so i can take a look. Email me for details.SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

i have audio problems when using svcd2dvd on my jvc player but not on my pioneer.i tried your solution and found nothing worked.i found the best way to do svcd properly and totally compatible with everything was ripping out the mpg files with iso buster, then using dvd patcher change the file header to a dvd file and then author with any dvd authorung software like tmpeg author.then once done repatch the headers of the vob files back to what they were originally.it might be a little longer but i'm definately not a big fan of svcd2dvd and as far as i'm concerned the author would be better spending more time on developing the software as he does implimenting hard to use security methods.

I think it would be impossible for me to spend more time on developing the software....
