    What is the best multi-disc VCD player with CD-R/RW and SVCD capability on the market? Is the JVC XV-FA90BK a safe bet?

    I have found the JVC's to be very media picky, and not like svcd's at all, for compatibilty the pioneers are in my opinion the best, read the reviews hear, most agree, I have a dv-c503 and a dv-c603 and they have played everything I have fed them, and played them well.
