  1. So I installed the K-Lite Codec pack. I have Zoom Player Professional and Windows Media Classic installed, but on both of them when I play avi files, I get audio but no video. I checked out the codecs on several different files and I have the right codecs installed, but still, no video. Anyone else have this problem?

Try VLC Media Player. It uses it's own codecs. If if plays them properly, your codec pack probably screwed things up. That's what they do best.

If so, I would uninstall the pack and just install codecs as needed after you scan the videos with Gspot or AVIcodec.

You should read the caution on K-Lite Codec Pack to the left in tools. <<<<<

  3. Unistalled K-lite Codec Pack an installed VLC Media Player. At first it did the same thing, no video but audio, fo an xvid and divx file. Then changed video output to Windows GDI. I have no idea what this is, was just messing around and it happened to work. Does anyone know what this is, so maybe I can get Zoom Player ot work again?
