  1. First off, I'm a newbie, so if I'm in the wrong place, please forgive me...

I purchased some DVD's from Europe which are in PAL format, and they won't play in my Panasonic DVD player. They do, however, play in my Apple Computer DVD player. Is there a way to convert or burn somehow, so they will play in my Panasonic DVD player? I tried using DVD Backup program and Toast to burn a copy, but it didn't work. I also have DVD2OneX... but I don't see anything in there that might help.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

You are not in th wrong place, but you could try a few simple searches before asking a question that gets asked at least a couple of times a week. I would start by checking out the guides under [b[How To[/b] on your left. The guides under Convert are a good place to start.

Format conversion can take time to get a good result. If buying PAL dvds is something you think you will continue to do, you are better of buying a DVD player that will play PAL disks. A lot less hassle in the long run.
