    Does anyone know any good online retailers of laserdisc hardware in the U.K. that is not second hand?

    In the USA, we can still purchase new Pioneer DVL-919 LD/DVD/CD players... you might check on getting hold of the UK version of that unit. I think it is called the DVL-919E.

    Maybe check with these guys...
