It's included, if you are using a supported card and driver.
Click on the TV button. -
thats just it. i have NO tv button. i have the new launchpad and under it is DVD, VCD, CD, Player, Library. then at the bottom it has 4 small icons, Desktop Settings, ATI On The Web, Help, and X to close the launchpad. if i install MMC 7.1 then I have the TV but its the MMC7.1 version.......

no. i am useing it with ATI TV VE. so i can't even install the TV capture part of the program? that sucks. i was looking for the enhancements in 7.5. 7.1 just plain sucks.........

ATI TV Wonder and TV VE (Value Edition) are not ATI video and capture cards, just simple TV tuner cards. ATI AIW cards have all the features...
-
It works for the tv wonder ve, tha catch is.
i have an all in wonder that I put in as a video card to install, then you can install the tv part and it works for tv wonder, then I took out the all in wonder 128 and all is fine.
Im sure everybody has a spare all in wonder laying around though.

lol. no i happen not to have the AIW card just lying around. yah. its just a tuner card but why does 7.1 have capture software with it and 7.5 doesn't. if it does then why doesn't it install like the 7.1 version???
-
or if it can be installed without the AIW card, what would be the trick to do it????
-
It dowd have tuner software, but it doesnt give you the option to install it unless it detects an all in wonder Im guessing
that leaving the old tv tunder in may work though
if you do a custom install you'll be able to tell if its going to install the tuner, it will be on the list -
it must have something in it to detect for an AIW card. i searched through every file in the zip and found no way to install the TV portion of it. oh well. it was worth a try.......i'm still gonna use the 7.5 software that i do get. i like the skins........

Extract MMCDVD7 to directory, open up the Install.ini you should see this
-------------------------------------begin--------------------------------
[Startup]
InstallTVPlayer=1
InstallGallery=1
InstallCD=1
InstallVCD=1
InstallDVD=1
InstallPCCheck=1
InstallLpad=1
InstallFPlayer=1
InstallDX = 0
InstallDXM = 0
ComponentsDlg = 1
CDBuild= 1
DetectHW =1
DEFPATH=C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia
LinkToDoc=0
Company= ATI
ShowComponents = 1
cdinfo= 7.5.0.0 cd35
EnableLogging = 0
uidk=76275358-c154-11d5-8d5a-00105a22d3d2
---------------------------------------------END------------------------------------------
Pay attention to the BOLD "DetectHW", set this to 0
DetectHW =0
NOW run the install process !!!!
When complete reboot and Viola !!!

Try this, it works in some cases:
1. Unzip MMC 7.5
2. Go to the folder that contains the setup.exe file
3. You'll see an install.ini file. Right click it. Click open.
4. Look for the line DetectHW =1
5. Change it to DetectHW =0
6. Save the file and run the setup.exe and see if it works. It has been reported that it does in some cases. -
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. It worked. I got a little worried when installing when I got an error message but i got to chose ignore and now it works. now to spend some time with it and see if its gotten any better than before.........
