  1. OK so I encoded some anolog VHS stuff from years past and much to our family's surprise, in one scene my young child pulls down mom's top and exposes a teet. Its already on DVD but I have the MPEG's. I always heard that you never edit the MPEGs, only the AVI's. Doing this would cause me to waste another 36 hours of encoding. Can anyone comment? Is there a tool that will let me just snip a bit and then burn?

Cut edit the MPG with whatever software you authored the DVD with and reauthor. I do not think it would have to reencode.

  3. You can do some basic editing with mpegs if you have the right software. I suggest you use VideoRedo.

  4. I've cut VOBs from a DVD with TMPGenc DVD Author then re-authored and burned. Any authoring program that can import VOBs should work for editing your amatuer porn flick.
