divx quickie

anyone know if you can create a slideshow in divx author 1.5 in 16.9 ratio ?,i can apply this to the menu,but not the slideshow itself.

and another thing,how do you get the divx player to erase a dvd rw disc when burning,it keeps telling me to insert a blank disc,i thank you.
