I need to create a dvd that can be played on standard standalone players, but also that has a portion that when inserted on a computer, has aditional content (can print files, and such).
Which is the best way to do this?

Output as a VIDEO_TS folder in your authoring tool(like tmpgenc dvd author, dvd-lab).
Burn the VIDEO_TS with for example nero(select new dvd-video) and add the other data files to a new folder or in the root folder, just don't put the files in the VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS folders.
