I'm getting pumped for the new SCCA-less American rally season coming up at the end of this month so I thought I'd share a video of one of our races from a couple years ago.
2002 LSPR vid thanks to TMR.
I had not part in making this film, just liked how it was put together and the clips that were in it. I was competing but there aren't any clips of the car I was navigating for since we wadded up the car the first night. My own car has a very brief cameo in the film, as does my brother. If you pause the vid on the shot with the Lancer up on jackstands my brother is in one of the mechanics standing at the front of it (he's the one hidden behind the big guy, their crew chief), and my Subaru can be seen in past them to the right of the yellow rally car. Sorry, shameless plug for my car 8)
Anyway, cool video so check it out. Rally is nowhere near as big here in the US as it is in pretty much every other part of the world so we don't pull the huge crowds like the WRC does, but we have a pretty close-knit family between competitors, crews, and regular staff/spectators. Any other rally fanatics around here?
