In Canada, you always get a "not viewable in this region" message when you tryto watch anything on NBC, CBS, ABC's etc etc websites. I was told that there was a way to be able to watch these videos using a proxy server. I have absolutely no experience with proxy servers and do not know how they are setup. Could someone please help me do this? I am using Firefox 3.5.

    Thank you

You set up a proxy server in your browser. In IE, it's in 'Tools>Internet Options>Connections>LAN settings'. In Firefox, 'Tools>Options>Advanced>Network>Settings' Usually you run the proxy program first, then use a internal address for the proxy like 127.0.0.1 and port 8080, but that depends on your proxy server software.

I wouldn't recommend the free ones as they are unreliable, but you can try one. I also wouldn't run anything over a free proxy server like banking information or credit card info or passwords or logins as you don't know what the host may be doing. There are quite a few pay proxy servers around, just do an internet search. Most should have usage instructions along with the proxy loader program.
