Some of the fonts that windows uses have changed to Tahoma, 8, bold. I think the default should be arial. Here are some screenshots:

This is usually only a slight annoyance, but in some programs like MS AntiSpyware pictured above it really messes things up. I was able to change most of the fonts back to arial under Display Properties - Appearance - Advanced. There were some fonts that I couldn't figure out where to change like Task Manager and MS AntiSpyware. I also tried to change the Theme under Display Properties, but it's still messed up. Under Display Properties - Appearance there is a setting for Windows and Buttons. When I change that to Classic Style, all the fonts under advanced are Tahoma and most are bold. When I change it to XP Style, most are Tahoma, but there are a couple that change to Trebuchet MS. Since this problem started several months ago, I have installed SP2 and it didn't change anything. All the fonts are still there and don't seem to be corrupted sisnce they still display properly in other programs. Any ideas? (besides reinstall xp or switch os) Thanks for the help!

I sure was pissed off when it reset my homepage to msn.com! This software is supposed to prevent things like this! Other than that the software seems to work great. It was actually made by Giant Software, but MS bought them out recently and now offers the old Giant Software product for free under the MS name. I previously used Adaware and Spybot, but I actually like this better. I hear MS is supposed to be releasing free anti virus soon. Now that's contradicting!

There was probably a "set msn.com" checkbox you missed during the installation.
