  1. Let me start by saying this software is fabulous! I just converted a PAL SVCD to a NTSC DVD.....with little or no work! I would suggest beefing up the instructions as it took some figuring out to work through the issues....but I did get there.

The only thing missing is the ability to play it in 16:9 format! On my tv it only took up about 1/2 the screen, which was a little weird to watch. Not sure why it doesn't automatically fill the screen and cuts off at a certain point....maybe that could be explained to me.....but, that is my only suggestion.

Please make it fill in to fill up the entire 16:9 screen. Thanks so much and what a great software program you have created!!!!

    Hello,

SVCD doesn't have native 16:9 capability. So the destination won't have it either.

  3. But I've played SVCDs on the 16:9 before and had them fill up the entire screen. So there must be something else going on.......I usually play the SVCDs elsewhere, so I don't have a history to say that XX% fill up the screen and the rest did not, but I know I've played them on it before and these particular ones did take up the entire screen. I'm new at all this (1 year experience), so any explanation is greatly appreciated.....

I think you will therefore need the SDE patching which will be in the next release.

Alternatively you could use v1.5 set up with "Program Streams" & "Pan and scan":

Then use the resultant mpgs in v2.0....
