Converting .avi to DVD

Hello I was trying to convert a .avi file to a DVD using Nero VisionExpress 3.
I have been 100% successful in the past but failed this attempt. This is a partial of the error log I recieved from Nero when the attempt failed.

ERROR
[23:15:55] DVDEngine cause: 129 (neroapi_call_failed)
[23:15:55] DVDEngine source: NeroBAOCloseFile() returned error condition
[23:15:55] DVDEngine description: _BAOContext::CloseFile()

I don't know if this is of any help. But I am curious what the error means. I have uploaded the entire error log to this post.

I uninstalled Nero Ultra Edition 6.6.0.5. I am now using my un-updated Nero Ultra Edition 6.6.0.1 and my DVD conversion from .avi format is working fine.
When I update from 6.6.0.1 to 6.6.0.5 my burn processes fail. I think I will stick with 6.6.0.1. Nero probably was forced to update their product to something that won't allow this type of conversion.

Hi Nate,
I ran into the same error when I tried to burn a dvd, after upgrading my nero. The way I got around it was to save the files to the hd first and then burn, it worked fine that way. Seems like alot of people are having the same problem, so hopefully they'll fix it quickly.

I have not run into a single problem since reverting to 6.6.0.1. I uninstalled all the updates. It works like a charm. I have not had a single error since doing this.
