My own personal experience...
...is that the link won't come up. Give me a price on what you saw and I'll give you my opinion on it's legitimacy. I get spam all the time advertising big name software for next to nothing. I generally don't trust it; and while it's something I might consider paying cash for at a swap meet (when I'm sure the person will be there the next week or month) I'd be a bit hesitant to order it online and pay with my credit card.Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
No way is this site legit ... MS XP Pro & MS Office Pro for $80! ... Adobe Photoshop CS with ImageReady CS for $90 ...
My advice ... stay away ... these guys appear to be a bunch of priates or they're trying to scam you out of your money / credit card number. -
Nothing comes up. My thoughts, if it looks one bit fishy, I wouldn't bother.
If you are a student, software can be gotten very cheaply. A few schools around here sell XP Pro or Office for $100.His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
Maybe they have managed to strike a legitmate deal for OEM software - you never know. That site looks fairly professional.
Why don't you e-mail the relevant authority in the USA (I'd talk to Trading Standards here in the UK, you guys must have something similar) and ask them to investigate whether it is legitimate, legal and safe for you to buy from this place. If it is then that's good news! If it isn't, they'll be able to shut down yet another pirate outlet.
Either way, you as the paying customer will win. -
Doubt it, here's the whois info for that site

Bundle Special #1:
Microsoft Windows XP Pro +
Microsoft Office XP Pro
This was for $80. Seems like Visa or MC would cut them off from processing CC #s once they had complaints? I know my liability with my bank stops at $50 ... or so they tell me! [/b]"No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms." - THOMAS JEFFERSON .. 1776
