I have an old 8mm player, which I was planning on using to backup my 8mm tapes to dvd, but when I was viewing a couple of my tapes I noticed that they roll. But then I tried a couple other tapes and those played fine. I've heard that this is caused by something like bad spots in the heads on the player. Is there a way that I could clean the player or something so I can have a good clean capture?
