Looking to see if anyone has done a home 8mm to dvd/pc project that has a player sittin around and would be willing to let me borrow or 'rent' it for 3-4 weeks. Of course, I'd be more than happy to cover shipping both ways.
    Have a good one,

you may be able to pick up something on eBay, use it for 3-4 weeks, then simply relist it...

    zoobie,

Yah, I thought of that. Or even finding something at a b&m. However, here, I'd trust the people here to have:

1 - Something that actually works.

    2 - Provides good quality.

    3 - Experience.

Ebay just seems like too much of a crap-shoot.

I'm also looking for a Pal Hi8 camcorder. Thought of the same thing with ebay, but there are none. So the only other choice is to post ads everywhere. Looking to borrow/rent or buy if it is less than $100.
