    Presently I use a splitter to connect my cable to the TV and the DVDR. I can watch one channel and record another channel on my DVDR. Using the tuner in my DVDR.

    Thinking about getting satellite.

    How/Can it be done with satellite?

    Probably going to need to have 2 converter boxes, one for each line.
