I'm trying to find out if the old constellation is still in orbit for the old satellite systems of the mid 90s. I moved a system with me to California and it worked for a while, then the receiver power supply failed. My wife signed us up for DirecTV so fixing the old receiver went to the back burner. Now, 10 years later, I finally got around to fixing it, but took down my 9' dish in the meantime. I don't know if it would be worth the effort to set it up again, or sell it to somebody who could use it. I haven't found any useful info on it, yet, but I'm still searching. Anbody with any info about it can email me at maddog_smith@hotmail.com and I thank you in advance! Mike "MadDog" Smith![]()

I serioulsy doubt the bird is still up. We use SAT comm here at work (through Hughes) and they have changed birds 3 times in the last 8 years. Usually because the previous bird was EOL (typically from no fuel).
