  1. that guarentees a media code? Ive used 1000+ prodiscS3 and not one bad burn. I got the ProdiscF1 from supermediastore this time and i get jittery playback or at the middle of chapters it just goes back to the menu.

I really need a place where i can find the media by mediacode. If thats not the case can someone tell me what type of media i should be using for White Printables on a Pioneer A06.

    Thanks in advance

  2. You could always e-mail the company and ask that they confirm the media code.

I'm hearing bad things about supermediastore just recently, and I've just had a bad experience with www.ukdvdr.co.uk - seems quite a few retailers are trying to pass off low-grade goods to unsuspecting customers.

I'm afraid I can't help you much. I hear Rima are OK - just looking at their website they seem to be pretty straight about media codes.

Care to enlighten us about the problem ?
I am using them more now than svp due to faster delivery. Also noticed svp have upped std delivery (2-3 days) to £4.99 from £3.99.... Which makes ukdvdr even closer.

  4. I'm with Cobra on his warning of www.UKDVDR.co.uk (see this post https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=250497&highlight=ukdvdr ).

I now find that the misrepresented media that they sent me (supposed to be Datawrite 8x with FUJI03 dye but turned out not to be) churns out coaster after coaster; just keep getting UNRECOVERED READ ERROR (031106) with each disc.

I thought my NEC-2500 had gone up the spout but just popped a Verbatim 8x in and it burned sweetly.

The only thing good about UKDVDR was their speedy delivery but if they deliver incorrectly advertised goods that don't even work it kind of negates their speedy delivery advantage.

And just try getting a speedy email exchange out of them! =

A friend has had a issue with them over delivery and the Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Or It's Free He ordered 300 cd's and 50 dvd's they arrived late... So he invoked the above claim. Took a lot of emails but he got his money back in the end.
